how we came to be

Minespire is more than a business to us.

It answered a question that had been in our minds for quite a while–which was, why can’t we do something positive, and help the ‘good guys’? Even if just a little.

It’s a response to the world we live in, and a fundamentally different way of looking at the power we have as both individuals, and consumers.

We all know there’s a lot of things that could be better about the world we live in. It’s tough to turn on the news without bearing witness to the harsh realities our planet is facing. From global warming and factory farming, to social injustice and economic inequality–some of the greatest challenges we’ve ever had to face are now front and center.

But it’s not a lost cause. As a matter of fact, we see things the other way around.

We knew that we wanted to create positive social change, and inspire others to get involved in their own unique ways. Our overarching philosophy is that little changes in all of us inevitably lead to big changes for all of us.

And we have more control than ever before to make these changes! To make informed decisions, and to get involved–with an abundance of resources now, literally, at our fingertips.

Our respect of the environment, people, and animals is something we’re truly passionate about. And it makes perfect sense to us that these three areas go hand-in-hand as part of our core beliefs. They all rely on one another, and live in a delicate balance, of sorts.

And that’s why Minespire came to be. It serves as an opportunity to provide a high-fashion product–all the while supporting some of the world’s leading organizations, and bringing increased awareness of the positive progress these groups are striving towards.

That’s really it.

We’re just out to do some good.  And together, we can do just that.
