Friends of the Earth and their federation of grassroots groups in 77 countries defend the environment and champion a more healthy and just world. They’re progressive environmental advocates who pull no punches and speak sometimes uncomfortable truths to power. It’s an approach that for four decades has yielded victories protecting our planet and its people.

__ About the Artist

Michele Melcher was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania in 1973, attended Bucks County Community College in Newtown, Pennsylvania, and received her associates degree in design in 1993. She later went on to recieve her BFA in Illustration from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in Abington Pennsylvania, where she works as a freelance illustrator.
